A Bachelor of Science degree in Communications is designed for students who wish to seek careers in the communications field. This can be either in the corporate sector, such as public relations, marketing, advertising, or business communications or in the media sector, such as publishing, newspapers, and magazines.

 

Once you have completed the program for a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, you will have developed the skills you’ll need to communicate effectively with groups or individuals from all walks in life and with diverse cultural differences and backgrounds. You will have learned how to put on presentations to the public, how to negotiate, and how to gather and disseminate information effectively. You will also have learned to persuade, use statistics and technology, and other varied communication skills to effectively show that you are credible.

 

When you have earned your Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, you will be well prepared to work in a communication-related position. The position may be within business, the media, or perhaps in an educational or non-profit organization.
